Science Catches up with the Vedas

Summary of Our Discoveries

So far we have discovered two revolutionary facts: (1) Advanced scientific knowledge in ancient Sanskrit texts. (2) Biological organisms are not the product of unguided events, rather they are products of deliberate design.

Regarding (1) Ancient Indian Sanskrit texts provide a value for the age of the solar system that differs from that of modern science by less than one percent. Moreover, they also provide a value for the age of the universe that is similarly close to that of modern science, as well as similarly accurate values for the ages of mass extinctions in Earth's history. The fact that the sages of ancient India (authors of the ancient Indian Sanskrit texts) had no technology capable of obtaining that stunning level of accuracy demands an explanation. The simplest explanation is that given in the texts themselves, namely that the knowledge was imparted by superhuman extraterrestrials. These beings possess a technology far superior to that of modern civilization. They work under Shri Vishnu, the source of everything.

Regarding (2) Using well-established principles of molecular biology and population genetics reported in peer-reviewed scientific journals, we show that the canonical paradigm of unguided evolution (random mutation, natural selection and stochastic genetic drift) requires 190 billion years for the accumulation of three key amino-acid substitutions in the S1-Opsin, which is the protein molecule in the primate retina that mediates the perception of blue light. Since the fossil record only allows 15 million years for the first evolutionary phase (the accumulation of the three key amino-acid substitutions) of the S1-Opsin, the canonical paradigm of unguided evolution fails by a colossal four orders of magnitude. Since there are only two alternatives, guided evolution and unguided evolution, the failure of unguided evolution means that the evolution of the S1-Opsin must have been deliberately guided. In other words, the S1-Opsin must have been deliberately designed through the process of guided evolution. Since design has been established, we are logically forced to conclude that there must have been a designer. Since there were no terrestrial beings capable of manipulating the genomes of terrestrial primates tens of millions of years ago, we are logically forced to conclude that the manipulator (the designer) must have been a superhuman extraterrestrial. Since the designer’s body must be at least as complex as the primates he designed, and since this complexity must be based on discrete material subunits (analogous to the DNA, RNA and protein molecules ubiquitous in all the terrestrial bodies with which we are familiar), then we are logically forced to conclude that this designer must also have been designed. Note that any material system capable of advanced cognition (whether a biological organism like a human being, a computer made of silicon chips, or a set of electromagnetic fields that interact with themselves) must necessarily have a high information content in order to carry out advanced cognition, and this high information content must necessarily be based on a complex underlying material structure. In order to avoid the logically untenable situation of an infinite regress of materially-embodied designers, we must acknowledge the existence of an original, transcendental Designer, namely God.
